Here is my entry for Krystman's pico8 shmup jam. Had a blast learning from his tutorials, and had some really helpful feedback from the community - big shout out to Aktane, Imbord3rlin3, DerrEmm, and Achie72 for the help, any issues with the game are down to my ineptitude and not purposefully ignoring any recommendations! Controls: X = shoot (hold for autofire) O = bomb Notes/scoring: Collect the falling books to shoot a 'knowledge bomb' - also cancels enemy bullets that they touch. Each bullet cancelled also gives you score! 4 books for an extra life (note: resets book count to zero) With a full life count, 4 books = 5000 point bonus (note: also resets book count to zero) 5 waves with a final boss.
